About the Role
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Production area, including training and development of staff. Estimate personnel needs, assign work, meet completion dates, and ensure consistent application of organizational policies. Collaborate with a dynamic team to achieve company goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide data-driven insights and analysis on departmental and individual performance to support continuous improvement.
- Evaluate existing methods and procedures; recommend and implement enhancements within assigned areas of responsibility.
- Plan and schedule work across sections, departments, or organizations to ensure optimal utilization of employees, equipment, and materials while meeting budget, cost, and quality standards.
- Estimate resource needs and assign tasks to meet completion targets aligned with the business plan and management objectives.
- Conduct performance appraisals, make hiring decisions, and manage disciplinary actions, including terminations, in accordance with company policies.
- Champion a safe and compliant work environment, promoting a culture of health and safety.
Requirements
- Two or more years of employee work experience in the specified discipline is required.
