About the Role
As a Director of Infrastructure Operations, you will lead teams responsible for both SaaS and on-premise software delivery, ensuring reliability, security, and seamless customer experiences. You will drive DevSecOps practices, manage migrations, oversee partners, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead three teams: SaaS Operations, DevSecOps, and Platform Delivery Engineering.
- Own customer-facing SaaS operations, including SLAs, runbooks, on-call, and incident management.
- Manage the quality of on-premise releases, patch cadence, upgrade paths, and L3 escalations.
- Ensure continuous delivery for SaaS and versioned on-premise bundles from a shared build.
- Drive DevSecOps for high availability and reliability of CI/CD pipelines, policy-as-code, and secure delivery workflows.
- Own the tooling and process for customer migrations to new on-premise releases and to SaaS.
- Oversee operations partners against contractual KPIs and grow the internal SaaS Operations team.
- Maintain SOC 2 / ISO readiness for operational controls and ensure audit evidence is complete.
- Coordinate with product and engineering teams to define release gates and ensure safe deployments.
- Track and improve DORA metrics for both SaaS and on-premise delivery.
Requirements
- Experience running production SaaS and shipping self-managed enterprise software.
- Knowledge of shipping versioned releases to customer-managed Kubernetes environments, including Helm-based installs, upgrade paths, and patch releases.
- Understanding of CI/CD systems, runtime reliability, policy-as-code, secure pipeline design, and software supply chain security.
- Confidence in leading high-severity incidents and coordinating response.
- Ability to build repeatable, auditable processes for releases, on-call, and operational workflows.
- Experience migrating enterprise customers across major versions or delivery models.
- Experience managing external operations partners against SLAs and KPIs.
- Experience growing and leading teams across SaaS operations, DevSecOps, and platform delivery engineering.
