About the Role
As a Family Support Specialist, Foster Care, you will provide support of children in care through transportation, one-on-one respite services and oversee family visits. You will report to the Program Supervisor and work onsite with travel required.
Responsibilities
- Transportation of children to visits and appointments.
- Oversee family visits using the family visit coaching model.
- One-on-one support for the children.
- Maintain cultural sensitivity, competence and client confidentiality.
- Work 40 hours per week with a shifting schedule based on the needs of the program which includes some evenings and occasional weekends.
- Document comprehensive notes on observations and services provided.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
