About the Role
Functional Consultants work with client stakeholders to discover user needs, design processes and solutions, and refine Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. They act as subject matter experts and trusted advisors, guiding clients on business transformation using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, and translating these into technical requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and advise the requirements gathering process by running workshops, interviews and observations sessions with Subject Matter Experts and Product Owners to define the business and functional requirements and system goals.
- Work with Solution Architects and Developers to outline high level and low-level solution designs in line with the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.
- Own the Product Backlog and ensure requirements are documented correctly in User Stories following Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).
- Work with Product Owners to get sign off prior to development.
- Reengineer business processes and advise on enhancements based on best practice and Dynamics 365 functionality.
- Own the functional design of the solutions being delivered to ensure both user needs are met, and the solution is in line with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities.
- Aid clients in developing CRM roadmaps and excite them by showcasing the art of the possible with the capabilities of Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.
Requirements
- Full implementation lifecycle experience of CRM based programmes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and knowledge of the supporting business processes.
- Experience in facilitating workshops to gather and document user needs and translating them into business processes and a product backlog.
- A passion for delivering according to an agile methodology, planning projects and releases in sprints and writing Epics, Features and User Stories.
- An understanding of the broader Microsoft technology stack and be able to leverage it to create powerful solutions.
- Working in fast paced Agile environments.
- Must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
