About the Role
The Environmental Services team aims to provide a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, aligning with the mission and philosophy of St. Peter's Health Partners. This role is ideal for an energetic individual seeking opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough room cleaning, following designated processes and policies to ensure all areas, fixtures, and surfaces are cleaned daily or as assigned in a timely manner.
- Comply with all infection control policies and procedures.
- Maintain good working relationships and communicate effectively with other departments, residents, families, and fellow staff, responding pleasantly to all requests.
- Communicate any encountered problems during daily routines to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Director.
Requirements
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds.
- Possess basic knowledge of dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing.
