About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Property & Facilities Lead to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover caregiver leave. • Manage and deliver property projects, including office moves, refurbishments, and new site launches, overseeing timelines, budgets, and stakeholders.
  • Support the global property strategy by developing practical plans that meet employee needs and support company growth.
  • Lead and develop a team of six, setting priorities, supporting development, and building a high-performing function.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, TechOps, and senior leadership to align priorities and drive improvements.
  • Manage property and facilities budgets and supplier relationships to ensure value for money.
  • Ensure workplaces meet health and safety requirements, manage compliance, and contribute to environmental commitments.
  • Use data and employee feedback to improve spaces, streamline processes, and build scalable ways of working, providing hands-on support when needed.

Requirements

  • Strong property and facilities management experience, preferably in a fast-paced, growing organization with multiple office locations.
  • Proven experience as a project manager, leading complex projects end-to-end with effective management of timelines, budgets, risks, and priorities.
  • Experience in people leadership, including managing, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, suppliers, and contracts, balancing cost, quality, and employee experience.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with senior stakeholders and build cross-team relationships.
  • Proactive, organized, and adaptable, capable of balancing daily operations with strategic goals, navigating ambiguity, and making independent decisions.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making and process improvement.
  • Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
  • Proficiency with digital tools such as Google Workspace and Slack.
  • Formal health and safety, facilities, or project management qualification (e.g., IWFM 7, NVQ, NEBOSH, PRINCE 2, APM) is a plus.
