About the Role
The Kita Drachenhöhle is a daycare center located near Humannplatz, offering care for up to 25 children (under and over 3 years old) in nature-oriented rooms. Unique features include a versatile movement room, a sauna, and an experience shower. The center emphasizes individual, relationship-based child support within a partially open concept aligned with the situational approach.
Responsibilities
- Support pedagogical specialists in daily educational activities based on the Berlin Education Program.
- Accompany children in play, educational, and movement activities, and support their individual development.
- Contribute to creating a child-friendly and inclusive learning and play environment.
- Collaborate with children, families, and colleagues.
- Undertake care and household tasks while adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
Requirements
- Completed training as a social pedagogical assistant and/or a related qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
- Organizational skills, strong communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Good self-reflection and conflict resolution skills.
- A relationship-oriented and appreciative approach towards children and families.
- Creativity and passion for working as an educator.

Salary/Compensations
- €3,045.95 - €3,531.19 per month (full-time, gross, depending on qualifications and experience)
