About the Role
We aim to enhance the stability and customer satisfaction of our practice management system, tomedo®. As a technically experienced UX Designer, you will support the team in areas related to the Telematics Infrastructure (TI), such as the electronic patient record (ePA) or the e-prescription. You will have direct contact with our customers, conduct interviews and usability tests, analyze the behavior of doctors and medical assistants, and make data-driven design decisions to sustainably improve the user experience. Your concepts will range from wireframes to click prototypes and high-fidelity designs, ensuring they are visually appealing, highly functional, and user-friendly. You will optimize UI components with attention to detail for consistency, modernity, and attractiveness. In close collaboration with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, you will ensure designs are technically feasible and legally compliant. You will think like a developer and act like a UXer, enjoy intensive problem-solving before focusing on solutions, and advise your team on prioritization and strategy.

Requirements
- Completed degree or comparable qualification in UX, Design, or Human-Computer Interaction
- Minimum 6 years of experience in UX Design, preferably in software development within an agile environment with highly regulated and technical topics
- Familiarity with UX principles from theory and science
- Experience in developing component-based design systems
- Proficiency in design and research tools
- Experience with design-to-code processes and AI prototyping
- Practical experience in UX research
- Deep understanding of product discovery principles
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and structured work approach
- Ability to handle complex requirements and find well-reasoned solutions
- Interest in or experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) and agentic AI (Codex, Claude Cowork, Gemini Spark, OpenClaw)
- Fluent German language skills
