About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to lead and contribute to automating, optimizing, securing, and maintaining Azure environments. This role involves collaborating with teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions, driving efficiency, reliability, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead Azure infrastructure projects, ensuring best practices across CI/CD, monitoring, security, and cloud operations.
- Collaborate with development and technical teams to design and implement scalable, secure Azure solutions.
- Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to improve automation, consistency, and reliability.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
- Support containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Mentor and support junior DevOps team members, sharing knowledge and promoting continuous improvement.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Stay up to date with the latest Azure services, features, and industry best practices, assessing their relevance to our projects.
- Contribute to improving cloud security, automation, and operational efficiency across projects.
Requirements
- SC eligibility and the ability to obtain SC clearance.
- Proven experience working as an Azure DevOps Engineer, with strong hands-on experience across Azure services.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform and ARM Templates.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience leading technical projects and working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
