About the Role
MERKUR Slots is seeking a Supervisor to join their venue teams, focusing on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards. The role involves supporting team members, ensuring targets are met, and fostering a positive work environment. Comprehensive training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the opening, trading, and closure of the venue.
- Assist the venue manager in day-to-day activities.
- Ensure interior/exterior standards and housekeeping are maintained at a high level.
- Establish and maintain customer service standards to maximize income.
- Implement marketing/promotional activities to maximize revenue.
- Assist senior managers to maximize business opportunities.
- Ensure venue cash collections are carried out accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure all Company security procedures are adhered to.
- Conduct regular checks of floats, keys, etc., and take appropriate action.
- Ensure the safety of employees and the public.
- Complete all daily/weekly/periodical administration.
- Deal with day-to-day employee problems within the venue.
- Establish and maintain a good working environment.
- Promote the company positively.
- Actively manage and promote safeguarding and social responsibility measures.
- Actively discourage harassment, bullying, victimisation, or discrimination.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role in the gaming, retail, hospitality, or similar industry.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience with leading and mentoring others.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts.
- A willingness to learn and develop.
