About the Role
We are seeking experienced electrical engineering specialists to ensure the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems, coordinate maintenance activities, and drive technical improvements in an industrial production environment. This position offers the opportunity to take on technical responsibility, improve system availability, and make a direct contribution to operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for electrical safety in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Ensure the safe operation of electrical systems and compliance with relevant electrical safety requirements.
- Coordinate and provide technical guidance to qualified electricians and external service providers.
- Plan and optimize maintenance, upkeep, and repair activities for industrial production systems.
- Support risk assessments, inspections, and electrical safety measures.
- Analyze technical faults and implement sustainable solutions to improve system availability and operational safety.
- Participate in technical investment, modernization, and infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in industrial electrical engineering and maintenance of production systems.
- Sound practical experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical production systems.
- Completed electrical engineering apprenticeship or a corresponding technician or university degree.
- VEFK appointment or demonstrable technical suitability to assume this responsibility.
- Very good German language skills (at least C1) in speaking and writing.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, particularly DIN VDE 1000-10, DGUV V3, and DIN EN 50110-1.
- Experience in heavy industry, metal processing, foundries, steel production, or comparable industrial manufacturing environments is particularly welcome.
