About the Role

As General Manager (m/f/d) for the Berlin metropolitan region, you will be responsible for an established and successful region, developing it strategically, economically, and culturally. You are looking for responsibility for a business that you can not only manage but also strategically develop. You enjoy strategically positioning New Work in an economically relevant metropolitan region and scaling it further together with customers, partners, and the team. Sustainable concepts, entrepreneurial responsibility, and operational implementation are inseparable for you.

Responsibilities

Develop the strategy for the region together with your team and drive its operational implementation.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers in the region.
Identify investment potential and opportunities for further development.
Conduct site analysis to identify satellite locations and evaluate them with partners and the expansion team.
Create business cases for new 'satellites' as a basis for all decisions up to lease agreement.
Lead the expansion projects in the region up to handover in collaboration with Expansion Management.
Build and develop the team with sensitivity, foresight, and people skills.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in building or leading a company or various departments in a large company.
A robust network in the Berlin region.
A good feel for what companies need when implementing their workplace strategy.
Enjoyment of complexity and variety.
Confident demeanor, reliability, and solution-oriented approach.
Creative and pragmatic approach in both conceptual and operational areas.
Enjoy working in a team.
Desire to actively shape and work independently.
