About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Kita-Leitung (Daycare Center Manager) to lead and further develop our daycare center, which cares for up to 52 children aged 1 to 6 years. Our pedagogical approach is based on the Situationsansatz, integrating elements of Montessori pedagogy, with a strong focus on movement, art, and religious education. We foster a daily environment of trust, understanding, and warmth in our collaboration with children and their families.

Responsibilities

Development and implementation of early childhood educational programs and continuous improvement of the pedagogical concept according to standards of participation, inclusion, language, health, nutrition, and movement.
Promotion of teamwork, motivation of employees, and responsibility for personnel development and hiring.
Responsibility for quality development, safety, hygiene, and maintenance of the facility, as well as for economic efficiency.
Cooperation with other institutions and services in the social area.
Establishment of a partnership-based collaboration with parents and guardians.

Requirements

Ideally, you have leadership experience in a comparable position, acquired through (deputy) management experience or project work.
Self-responsibility, initiative, and decision-making ability are central characteristics that distinguish you.
As a pedagogical specialist, you bring valuable knowledge and relevant professional experience, ideally in the pedagogical field, in the conception and implementation of modern pedagogy.
You are familiar with established communication theories and possess moderation skills.
You identify with the mission statement of the sponsor and are guided by Christian values.
