About the Role
This 12-month internship offers the opportunity to gain valuable industry experience, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop practical skills within the intelligent transport solutions sector. You will become part of a nationwide Emerging Talent community, with opportunities to build relationships, learn from experienced professionals, and collaborate on business-wide impact projects.
Responsibilities
- Support the Road User Charging management team with project work and general maintenance activities across multiple customer contracts.
- Collaborate with departmental teams to gain in-depth knowledge of business systems and processes.
- Learn to utilize tools such as PowerApps and Power BI for data collection and processing.
- Assist teams in understanding and visualizing data to support key business decisions.
- Perform day-to-day planning for engineers.
- Plan work for subcontractors, track progress, and manage budgets.
Requirements
- Aiming towards or have achieved a 2:1 or above in a business or similar STEM topic degree.
- Interest in management and field-related activities with a drive to build experience.
- Confidence to communicate and work with colleagues at all levels, including Contract Managers, Commercial teams, and the wider business.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage report deadlines and understand prioritization.
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn with a proactive approach.
- Ownership attitude for areas of responsibility.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft applications with an interest in advancing skills in this area.
