About the Role
This role is critical for supporting ongoing system redesign, testing, and deployment for multiple active contract updates, including Sick Cashouts and union sidebar agreements. The consultant will also work with the Pension department on Tier 6 Pension issues and manage Sick Time category changes. Their continued presence is essential to avoid jeopardizing payroll accuracy, leave management, or union compliance, especially during the UTS Modernization Effort and ATS Migration.
Responsibilities
- Perform system redesign, testing, and deployment for contract updates.
- Support the Pension department with Tier 6 Pension issues.
- Manage Sick Time (GOOD/BAD) category changes.
- Validate requirements for modernization efforts.
- Conduct architecture reviews.
- Establish performance baselines.
- Participate in QA/UAT cycles.
- Oversee vendors and manage defect remediation.
- Prevent data migration issues during ATS transition.
- Address reporting gaps during ATS transition.
- Resolve payroll inconsistencies during ATS transition.
- Provide 24/7 support for mission-critical applications.
- Perform production support, incident management, and system maintenance.
Requirements
- In-depth understanding of Workforce Management and Timekeeping systems.
- Experience in providing 24/7 support for mission-critical applications.
- Strong background in production support, incident management, and system maintenance.
- Deep system history and design knowledge for Exact replication of PICK screens, logic, LOVs, triggers, and reports in APEX/BI Publisher.
- Detailed understanding of UTS current workflows, timekeeping rules, crew management, and attendance processes for ATS Migration.
