About the Role

You will be responsible for the engineering and construction aspects of high-profile large construction projects, guiding them through all HOAI service phases. You will represent BVG as the client towards external project stakeholders and coordinate internal and external partners. Additionally, you will manage approval and planning approval procedures, coordinating with authorities and other stakeholders. You will develop overarching concepts for project management, ensuring deadlines, costs, quality, and economic efficiency. You will also manage procurement, construction supervision, acceptance, and handover, ensuring the proper implementation of construction projects. Furthermore, you will be responsible for project controlling, change order management, reporting, and complete project documentation up to the as-built record.

Responsibilities

• You will manage approval and planning approval procedures, coordinating with authorities and other stakeholders.
• You will develop overarching concepts for project management, ensuring deadlines, costs, quality, and economic efficiency.
• You will also manage procurement, construction supervision, acceptance, and handover, ensuring the proper implementation of construction projects.
• Furthermore, you will be responsible for project controlling, change order management, reporting, and complete project documentation up to the as-built record.
• As part of the Major Projects New Construction business unit, you will support the further development of project management processes and standards.

Requirements

• Completed scientific studies (Master's or Diploma University) in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent skills and knowledge based on many years of professional experience.
• Experience in construction and/or project management, ideally with a focus on large construction projects and client representation.
• Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level).
• A fitness examination according to BOStrab will be part of the hiring process.

Skills

• Good knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., VOB, DIN standards, DGUV regulations, UVgO).
• Initial experience with SAP modules.
• Strong persuasive ability, decisiveness, and strategic thinking.

Salary/Compensations

• €5,824.59 - €6,585.11 per month (Entgeltgruppe 14 TV-N Berlin)
