About the Role

This global leadership role reports to the Chief Technology Officer and is a member of the Technology Leadership Team. You will lead shared technology services and build platforms for AI, data, and business-embedded technology teams to deliver modern tools faster. You will be responsible for the reliability and performance of the firm's infrastructure, cloud platforms, end-user technology, and operational services, while transforming infrastructure into a modern platform capability.

Responsibilities

Build the platform that others build on, turning cloud, data and AI foundations into self-service, paved-path platforms.
Own the AI & data platform run-state, engineering and operating services behind our Medallion architecture.
Treat internal teams as customers by setting a product mindset for the platform.
Run reliable, secure operations, owning availability, resilience, incident response and service experience for shared technology.
Modernize and automate operations, driving the shift from manual operations to automation and AI-assisted tooling.
Lead and develop the leadership team, directing senior leaders across a globally distributed organization.
Grow the Budapest hub as an insourced center of excellence for platform, infrastructure, and operations capability.
Manage cost and risk, owning the budget, vendor relationships, and the security and control posture.

Requirements

Significant senior leadership experience building or operating enterprise-scale cloud, data or AI platforms and mission-critical infrastructure services.
Demonstrated success turning infrastructure, cloud, data or AI capabilities into reusable, self-service platforms that accelerate engineering and business teams.
Deep working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, modern data platforms, DevOps, automation, infrastructure as code and AI-assisted operations.
Experience owning enterprise network and telephony, end-user computing, production support, IT service management and core services.
Proven accountability for availability, resilience, major incident response, service quality and cost at enterprise scale.
Proven track record in effective partnering with Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) anchored by sufficient understanding of core cyber security concepts, tools and principles.
Experience leading and developing senior leaders within a large, globally distributed technology organization.
Proven ability to build or scale an insourced delivery hub, develop local leadership and retain specialist technology talent.
Ability to set strategy and translate it into clear roadmaps, operating measures and sustained adoption by internal customers.
Experience owning a substantial budget and vendor portfolio, with strong judgment across cost, risk, controls, speed and innovation.
Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills, with credibility among senior engineers, technology leaders and business executives.
Willingness to adhere to the provisions of our Investment Advisory Code of Ethics.
Understanding of the regulatory obligations of the firm and abiding by regulated entity requirements and JHI policies.
