About the Role
Kickstart your career with an Apprenticeship at Otis! Intakes commencing now for 2027. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as an Electrical Trades Apprentice OR Mechanical Trades Apprentice. We will consider applicants for their 1st year, or they can join Otis to complete from their 2nd or 3rd year of an existing apprenticeship.
Responsibilities
- Trained in the Installation, Modernization, Servicing, and Repairing of Elevators, Escalators, and Travelators
- Gain and apply electrical and mechanical knowledge, skills and abilities to troubleshoot and creatively solve problems
- Gain maximum exposure to the business by rotating between the Service and Construction businesses
- Work closely with customers and develop exceptional customer service skills
Requirements
- Must be a permanent resident or citizen, or be a relevant visa holder with full working rights in Australia
- Minimum of Year 10 School Certificate or equivalent
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory
- Proactivity, curiosity and enthusiasm
- Strong passion for innovation and an interest and willingness to learn
- An interest in the elevator industry
- Demonstrated aptitude and interest in working with technology
- Ability to work with smart/intelligent systems and higher end technology solutions
