About the Role
Carvela, a premium accessories brand with Italian heritage, designs shoes and bags in Milan for women. Each product emphasizes exceptional design and comfort, reflecting timeless style and empowering women. Collections are crafted from high-quality materials with Italian-inspired silhouettes.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with Merchandising, warehouse, finance, and stores departments.
- Maintain accurate and concise filing and data management.
- Generate weekly trade reports.
- Communicate with suppliers on a daily basis.
- Assist in buying trip preparation.
- Ensure accuracy of information and follow up on missing details.
- Help create trend reports and presentations for retail staff.
- Monitor competitors, research new brand proposals, and provide feedback on market trends.
- Manage order confirmations, purchase orders, and repeats, maintaining a tracker and priority schedule.
- Participate in store visits and provide feedback to Buyers and Merchandising.
- Manage workload and priority lists for the Merchandising Admin Team and interns.
- Review margins and RRPs, highlighting seasonal changes and requirements for growth to Buyers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Buying Admin role is preferable (placement year or internship experience considered).
- Passionate about gaining experience and developing a career in Branded Buying.
- Passionate about working with luxury high fashion brands.
- Proactive, hard-working, and excellent at building relationships.
- Hard-working, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Ability to prioritize and manage own workload.
