About the Role

We’re hiring an SEO & GEO Account Manager to help shape how Nuffield Health is discovered across traditional search and AI-powered search. You’ll join a collaborative team, combining strong SEO foundations with emerging Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) techniques. This is a hands-on role with genuine strategic input, giving you the opportunity to influence search strategy, website development and how a major healthcare brand shows up across new discovery experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day delivery of SEO activity across technical, on-page, content and local search, turning business priorities into clear recommendations and roadmaps.
  • Support Nuffield Health’s website redesign and replatforming, contributing to technical audits, migration planning, QA and post-launch monitoring.
  • Explore how Nuffield Health appears across AI-powered search experiences, using prompt research, competitor analysis, brand mentions and citations to identify practical GEO opportunities.
  • Shape content recommendations around search intent, authority and trust, working with content and clinical stakeholders to support accurate healthcare information.
  • Collaborate with Paid Search, Content, Digital PR, UX/CRO, analytics and development specialists to improve performance across the wider search journey.
  • Turn SEO and GEO performance data into clear insights and actions, connecting organic visibility, traffic, conversions and emerging AI-search measures to client outcomes.
  • Build strong client relationships while coordinating projects, managing timelines and supporting the development of junior colleagues and specialist teams.

Requirements

  • Hands-on SEO experience with the ability to turn analysis into practical recommendations and manage ongoing workstreams.
  • A good understanding of technical SEO, including crawling, indexing, site architecture, structured data and the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • An interest in GEO, LLMs and AI-powered search, with practical knowledge or curiosity around prompts, citations, generated answers and brand visibility. Specific GEO platform expertise isn't essential.
  • Confidence working with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Lumar or Looker Studio.
  • An understanding of search intent, content quality, on-page optimisation and the signals that help build authority and trust.
  • Clear, collaborative communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, technical teams and specialist colleagues.
  • The ability to balance hands-on delivery with strategic thinking, manage competing priorities and support junior team members.
