About the Role

This is a hands-on role for a technically strong, commercially aware finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, complex international environment. You'll take ownership of our month-end reporting cycle, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of financial information across a multi-jurisdictional group. You'll also be a trusted point of contact for the wider Finance team, providing guidance, resolving challenges and keeping business-as-usual operations running smoothly. We're looking for someone who can quickly get up to speed, confidently make decisions and bring structure and clarity to a busy reporting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end month-end close and financial reporting process across a complex, multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional group, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of consolidated trial balances and reporting outputs.
  • Own the month-end timetable, prioritizing critical activities, resolving reporting challenges and coordinating stakeholders to meet demanding deadlines.
  • Provide oversight of balance sheet reporting, reconciliations and financial controls, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with group accounting policies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Financial Reporting team, providing hands-on leadership, guidance and confident decision-making to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Partner with Finance teams and stakeholders across the business, supporting external audit requirements and resolving complex financial reporting matters.
  • Identify practical opportunities to improve reporting processes, strengthen controls and leverage data and automation to drive greater efficiency.

Requirements

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), with substantial relevant accounting experience, ideally including 7+ years post-qualification.
  • Strong financial reporting experience within a large multinational organisation, with exposure to complex group structures, multiple entities and jurisdictions.
  • Proven ownership of an end-to-end month-end close, including group consolidations, consolidated trial balances and delivery against tight deadlines.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly across balance sheet reporting, reconciliations, financial controls and group reporting.
  • Confident leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide teams, build relationships quickly and make sound decisions independently.
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong data literacy and advanced Excel capabilities, with experience working across complex financial systems and datasets.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach, with the ability to quickly understand a new environment, take initiative and deliver results with minimal onboarding.
