About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and people-focused leader to manage our Sydney Terminal operations. This broad, hands-on role involves leading multiple functions to ensure exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure. You will be responsible for developing people, solving problems, and creating an environment where teams can thrive.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop leaders and frontline employees to create and maintain a high-performing culture.
- Shape and continuously improve the end-to-end guest experience across the terminal and touring operation.
- Drive operational performance, readiness, workforce productivity, and labor cost outcomes.
- Partner with touring teams and providers to ensure seamless, memorable off-train experiences.
- Identify and implement improvements that enhance both guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Lead service recovery and operational decision-making in a dynamic environment.
- Build strong relationships across the business to bring iconic and premium Journey Beyond experiences to life.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading leaders in hospitality, tourism, transport, rail, or other customer-focused operational environments.
- Ability to balance people leadership, guest experience, and commercial performance.
- Experience managing labor costs, workforce productivity, and operational budgets.
- Strong operational judgment with the ability to make decisions with confidence.
- A passion for coaching, developing, and empowering others.
- A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
