About the Role
As part of our IT team, you will be the point of contact for problems and errors related to our IT systems, ensuring smooth and secure IT operations. You will be responsible for error analysis and troubleshooting of IT system and network environments. Setting up, installing, configuring, and administering IT systems is also part of your responsibilities. You will document our IT landscape, processes, and working methods. You will manage servers in a virtual Windows Server environment (primarily Windows Server, Hyper-V). You will also be responsible for administering the network infrastructure and IT security. You will plan and implement new hardware and software solutions and further develop our existing IT infrastructure. You will support the introduction and secure use of AI tools in our Microsoft 365 environment, including permissions and data protection configuration. You will use and further develop AI-based solutions for planning, error analysis, and automation of routine tasks.
Responsibilities
- Act as the point of contact for IT system problems and errors.
- Ensure smooth and secure IT operations.
- Perform error analysis and troubleshooting for IT system and network environments.
- Set up, install, configure, and administer IT systems.
- Document the IT landscape, processes, and working methods.
- Administer servers in a virtual Windows Server environment (primarily Windows Server, Hyper-V).
- Administer network infrastructure and IT security.
- Plan and implement new hardware and software solutions.
- Develop existing IT infrastructure.
- Support the introduction and secure use of AI tools in the Microsoft 365 environment, including permissions and data protection configuration.
- Utilize and develop AI-based solutions for planning, error analysis, and automation of routine tasks.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience with an IT background.
- Completed vocational training in the IT sector or a relevant university degree.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows Client and Server).
- Very good knowledge in AD, DNS, DHCP, LAN, VLAN, VPN, Office 365, Entra ID.
- Interest in new technologies.
- First experience with AI tools and automation.
- Analytical-strategic approach and solution-oriented mindset.
- Independent and team-oriented work style.
- Strong sense of service and quality.
- Excellent German language skills (at least C1 level).
- Fluent English language skills.
