About the Role
We are looking for a commercially minded analyst who can interrogate numbers, challenge assumptions, and partner with business leaders to uncover where pricing, product mix, and commercial decisions can drive stronger performance across the diverse APAC region. This role involves analyzing price, volume, product mix, and gross profit to identify opportunities and influence pricing strategy, tenders, contracts, and profitable growth.
Responsibilities
- Partner with regional and country leaders to shape pricing strategies that support profitable growth
- Analyze pricing, gross profit, volume, and product mix across tenders, contracts, hospitals, and markets
- Translate complex commercial data into clear insights, recommendations, and actions
- Identify pricing opportunities and risks before they impact business performance
- Support tender and contract pricing decisions with robust commercial analysis
- Analyze Price Volume Mix movements to understand the real drivers of performance
- Build greater consistency and best practice across pricing processes throughout APAC
- Balance regional frameworks with local market dynamics, customer environments, and commercial realities
- Consolidate and manage tender and contract data across markets, maintaining strong data integrity and hierarchy
- Partner with local teams to improve data flow, governance, and consistency
- Develop reporting and analytical capabilities that help leaders make faster, better-informed decisions
- Support business operations and commercial excellence initiatives across the region
Requirements
- Strong experience in pricing, commercial analytics, finance, business analytics, or commercial excellence
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into meaningful commercial recommendations
- Strong analytical capability across pricing, profitability, volume, and product mix
- Advanced Power BI capability
- Experience working with SAP or similar enterprise systems
- Strong Excel and broader data-management capabilities
- Confidence partnering with senior commercial and business leaders
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex analysis easy to understand
- A curious, commercially minded approach and confidence asking the difficult questions
- Experience working across multiple markets, countries, or business units will be highly regarded
- A background in MedTech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or another complex commercial environment would be particularly valuable
- A strong finance foundation could also translate well into the role
