About the Role
Lead the science behind Vocus’s AI, including predictive models, optimization, and experiments to prove value. Ensure model choices are evidence-based and results are measured properly.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the AI Science team
- Own the modelling approach for predictive and optimisation use cases, such as churn, propensity and network capacity
- Design experiments and measurement frameworks to prove incremental value against clear baselines and control groups
- Partner with data owners to ensure data quality and fitness for priority AI use cases
- Define and contribute to evaluation methods for generative AI solutions
- Partner with Finance to provide robust evidence for benefits validation and value realisation
- Act as AI Chief of Staff to the ELT, helping executives build their proficiency in using AI and embedding it into how they lead and work
Requirements
- Background in applied ML or AI science, with experience leading people
- Strong statistics, experimentation and ML; Python and SQL
- Experience with churn, pricing, forecasting or network analytics desirable
- Clear communicator to non-technical leaders
