About the Role
Rabobank’s Technology team within COO Domain delivers secure, reliable, and scalable technology. We are hiring a Senior Quality Engineer - Mobile to join our Mobile Banking Squad, shaping the quality of mobile banking experiences across native iOS & Android applications, APIs, and integrated services.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute risk-based testing across iOS, Android, APIs, and integrated customer journeys.
- Own, maintain, and improve the mobile test automation framework.
- Build reliable automated tests and integrate quality controls into CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead testing across functional, integration, regression, accessibility, and production verification testing.
- Identify quality risks early and provide clear recommendations on release readiness.
- Lead defect triage and support severity assessment, prioritization, and resolution.
- Coach Engineers and help embed strong quality engineering practices across the Mobile Banking Squad.
- Support production releases, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
- Maintain test environments, devices, test data, and automation assets required for delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across testing, automation, and production assurance.
Requirements
- A background in software testing or quality engineering with experience testing native iOS & Android applications, APIs, and integrated services.
- Proven experience designing, maintaining, and improving reusable mobile automation frameworks.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
- Experience with risk-based testing, defect management, release assurance, and production verification.
- Experience with API and web automation tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Selenium, or Playwright.
- Experience using modern AI coding tools, such as GitHub Copilot or equivalent.
- Understanding of modern AI engineering concepts, including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, agentic workflows, evaluation, and responsible AI.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience guiding quality engineers and working within Agile delivery teams.
- Experience in financial services and mobile banking is highly regarded.
