About the Role
As a Solutions Specialist on the AI Apps & Data team, you will act as a sales-focused technology specialist and trusted advisor to clients, with an emphasis on pre-sales rather than delivery. You will join a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities
- Lead in-depth client discovery to gather and analyse Data & AI requirements.
- Develop and present innovative Data & AI solutions using Microsoft data platforms, OpenAI, Microsoft Fabric, and related services to Senior Executives.
- Create detailed architecture diagrams and solution designs using Draw.io and other visualization tools.
- Write comprehensive proposals covering technical specifications, project plans, and cost estimates.
- Prepare high-quality internal and client documentation and presentations.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and proofs of concept to showcase proposed solutions’ value.
- Work with technical teams to ensure smooth presales-to-implementation handovers.
- Provide Data & AI thought leadership and innovation insights to internal teams and clients.
- Identify and resolve project issues with our clients.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a presales or consulting role, with a focus on Data & AI solutions.
- Proven experience working with Microsoft Data platforms, including Azure Data Services, Power BI, Azure OpenAI and Microsoft Fabric.
- Broad conceptual knowledge of Data & AI trends, terminology, and conceptual architectures.
- Exceptional English language communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in tools such as Draw.Io, PowerPoint, MS Project, markdown, Word, and Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment where trust is given for you to deliver and be held accountable to timelines.
- Ability to effectively communicate through presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
