About the Role
Oaks North Ryde Suites is expanding its housekeeping department and seeking dedicated, detail-oriented individuals committed to providing exceptional guest experiences. If you are energetic, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
- Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards.
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively (training and tools provided).
- Build strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to foster a positive, respectful work environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
- Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

- Monday - Friday: $33.85 per hour
- Saturday: $40.62 per hour
- Sunday: $47.39 per hour (excluding superannuation)
