About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist riders, visitors, and staff with professionalism. Communicate observations, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with teamwork and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at transit facilities and surrounding areas.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
