About the Role
As a Founders Associate Intern, you will work directly alongside the founding team, contributing to key strategic and operational initiatives. You will develop new ideas and business approaches, driving them hands-on to implementation. You will take ownership from the start, advance your own projects, and ensure ideas translate into concrete results. Beyond business development and operations, you will be involved in daily business and coordinate crucial interfaces with investors, banks, and other stakeholders. This role is more than an internship; we seek individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset and genuine drive, eager to help build a company from its inception. Our goal is to ideally bring the selected candidate on board as the first full-time hire.
Responsibilities
- Manage the process with investors from initial inquiry to financing closure, coordinating related processes and improving operational workflows.
- Collaborate with the founding team to evolve company strategy and build the financial model for planning and managing growth.
- Develop and implement processes using AI and no-code tools to automate tasks and enhance the platform.
- Actively participate in market entry, identify potential partners, and build relationships with banks and other financiers.
- Keep the day-to-day operations running smoothly, drive topics independently, and accelerate the company's progress.
- Work closely with the founding team on strategic questions and develop hypotheses that guide direction and growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree completed or nearing completion (not a strict requirement).
- Previous internships in startups, consulting, or venture capital.
- Experience in Finance or Renewable Energy is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial thinking, problem-solving ability, and proactive approach.
- Daily use and implementation of AI and new tools in work.
- Ability to make decisions with incomplete information and take ownership of outcomes.
- Interest in the energy transition.
- Fluent German and English.
