About the Role
Guide Book Publishing, an industry leader since 1991, is seeking a strategic Advertising Account Executive. This role involves helping local businesses across 24 states reach micro-communities through direct-mail advertising, with frequent assignment changes every 2-3 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Identify and close new advertising partnerships to meet production goals.
- Educate local business owners on the ROI of being featured in community guides and directories.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and operations staff to ensure an excellent experience.
- Nurture and maintain large-scale accounts within your metro area.
- Manage contracts and paperwork accurately and return assignment materials via USPS upon completion.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance.
- Requires Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance.
- Frequently required to sit and utilize a keyboard and phone.
Skills
- Proficient in Excel, scanning, email, and PDF management.
- Strong ability to calculate discounts and commissions accurately.
- Persuasive verbal skills.
- Clear, professional written communication.
