About the Role

pump.fun is becoming the place where crypto trades in public. To grow the social graph on the pump.fun app, we need to onboard the top traders in the world across every market we support. This role will own the trading terminal market, focusing on bringing power users onto the pump.fun terminal to make it their primary trading platform.

Responsibilities

Find and win the traders who move markets, including mapping top traders, KOLs, whales, etc.
Own the pipeline from initial contact to onboarded, active trading.
Grow the social graph by encouraging high-signal traders to share positions and calls.
Design referral, ambassador, creator, and partnership structures.
Act as the voice of the trader, providing feedback to product and engineering.
Engage with traders online across platforms like Crypto Twitter, Telegram, and Discord.
Track key metrics including traders onboarded, retained activity, volume, and social engagement.
Develop a playbook for market growth as the first in this role.

Requirements

2+ years of experience leading BD at a crypto company or adjacent industry (fintech, trading, betting, gaming, creator economy) with a track record of impact.
A strong network within the high-volume trading and creator communities.
Fluency in on-chain trading concepts, token launches, liquidity, slippage, execution, and relevant terminals/bots.
Ability to structure deals, negotiate incentives, and assess partnership value.
Demonstrated ability in relentless follow-up and turning conversations into results.
Clear, confident communication skills, including writing and speaking the language of Crypto Twitter.
A scrappy, high-energy operator mindset, thriving in fast-paced, resource-lean environments.
Must have the right to work in New York; visa sponsorship requirements should be disclosed.
