About the Role

pump.fun is becoming the place where crypto trades in public. To grow the social graph on the pump.fun app, we need to onboard the top traders in the world across every market we support. This role will own the prediction markets business development, focusing on bringing high-volume prediction market traders, whales, and creators onto pump.fun.

Responsibilities

• Find and win the traders who move markets by mapping top traders, KOLs, whales, etc. in the prediction markets.
• Own the pipeline end to end, from initial contact to onboarded, active trading.
• Grow the social graph by encouraging high-signal traders to share positions, calls, and PnL.
• Design mutually beneficial deals, including referral, ambassador, creator, and partnership structures.
• Act as the voice of the trader by providing specific feedback to product and engineering teams.
• Engage with traders online across platforms like Crypto Twitter, Telegram, and Discord.
• Track key metrics such as traders onboarded, retained activity, volume, and social engagement.
• Develop a playbook for market growth based on successful strategies.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience leading Business Development at a crypto company or in adjacent fields (fintech, trading, betting, gaming, creator economy) with a proven track record of impact.
• A strong network within the prediction markets, including high-volume traders and creators.
• Fluency in prediction markets, understanding event contracts, odds, pricing, liquidity, and resolution.
• Ability to structure deals, negotiate incentives, and assess partnership value.
• Demonstrated follow-through in managing pipelines and converting conversations into results.
• Clear and confident communication skills, including writing and speaking the language of Crypto Twitter.
• A scrappy, high-energy operator mindset suited for a fast-paced, resource-lean environment.
• Experience launching or scaling referral, affiliate, or ambassador programs is a plus.
• Reach into non-English speaking trading communities, especially Chinese-speaking, is a plus.
