Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer priorities, performance measures, investment plans and technology-modernisation agenda.
  • Connect customer outcomes with HPE’s capabilities and articulate a clear, measurable value proposition.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior executives, technology leaders, influencers and decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute multi-year account plans that support customer outcomes, growth and sustainable profitability.
  • Build a strong pipeline by identifying and shaping strategic opportunities early.
  • Lead complex pursuits, bringing together HPE specialists, business units and partners to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Lead the extended account team through clear governance, collaboration and accountability.
  • Develop a coordinated partner strategy across the public-sector ecosystem to strengthen HPE’s position and maximise customer value.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of government priorities, industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Act as the customer’s advocate within HPE, aligning internal teams to improve customer experience, satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

  • Typically 6+ years of enterprise account-management or complex B2B sales experience.
  • A strong record of sales achievement across large, complex customer environments.
  • Experience developing multi-year account strategies and leading high-value pursuits.
  • Public-sector experience and an understanding of government decision-making, procurement and stakeholder environments.
  • Exceptional executive engagement, influencing, consultative and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to lead cross-functional teams and create alignment without direct authority.
  • Strong commercial judgement, pipeline discipline and a focus on predictable execution.
