About the Role
As an Entry-Level Lube Technician at Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC), you will be part of a friendly and collaborative team focused on providing top-tier customer service and performing essential vehicle maintenance. Our award-winning training program requires no prior automotive experience and will equip you with the skills to perform oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, battery services, and safety inspections.
Responsibilities
- Change oil
- Check and refill fluids
- Rotate tires
- Test and replace batteries
- Inspect and replace lights and wipers
- Perform an 18-point safety check
- Perform other preventive maintenance services
- Provide top-tier customer service
Requirements
- Schedule flexibility, including weekend availability
- Eagerness to learn, friendly attitude, and desire to be part of a customer-focused team
- Ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions
- English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above head
- Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment
