About the Role
MCW Group is seeking a self-motivated Mechanical Engineering Student for a 4-12 month contract in their Toronto office, starting January 2027. This role offers hands-on experience in Mechanical building design within the consulting industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the design of mechanical HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems in commercial, institutional, residential, public and private facilities
- Assist Engineers and Designers with the preparation of technical drawings
- Operate computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstations
- Participate in site visits
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Currently pursuing undergraduate studies in Engineering, preferably Mechanical
- Working knowledge or experience with AutoCAD and/or REVIT an asset
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- The desire to work in a team-based environment
- Good communication skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
