About the Role

AXNY is seeking an experienced, results-driven Dropship Manager to oversee and grow our dropship business across key retail and e-commerce partners. This individual will own the day-to-day operations and strategic development of the channel, driving sales growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. Following the initial account opening by Sales, this manager assumes end-to-end accountability for onboarding, cross-functional execution, and ongoing account results. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing third-party retail platforms, retailer portals, product listings, pricing, inventory, and order fulfillment. This person will manage retail relationships, analyze business performance, identify growth opportunities, and work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Content, Sales, EDI & Integrations, IT, Supply Chain, and E-commerce teams to maximize the success of the dropship business. Success will be measured by sales growth, profitability, margin performance, operational efficiency, and inventory health.

Responsibilities

Own and grow the dropship channel, developing strategies to increase sales, profitability, and operational efficiency.
Directly manage Dropship CSRs, overseeing order follow-up, style activation/removal on inventory feeds, daily coordination with the Warehouse, and transaction escalations to EDI & Integrations.
Manage relationships with third-party retailers and marketplace partners, serving as the primary contact for dropship operations.
Oversee retailer onboarding, portal integrations, product setup, listings, pricing, and ongoing platform maintenance.
Coordinate with Merchandising and Content to ensure product information, images, listings, and new-style launches are completed on time.
Analyze sales, margins, inventory, and marketplace trends.
Develop reporting and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.
Monitor competitive pricing, promotions, and marketplace activity while maintaining established margin requirements.
Review retailer chargebacks and deductions, investigate recurring causes, and coordinate corrective actions to improve performance and protect margins.
Partner with Supply Chain, Planning, and Warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy, product availability, and timely order fulfillment.
Regularly review low-stock risks with Planning and follow up on replenishment and product availability.
Identify opportunities to streamline operations, improve productivity, and expand the dropship business.
Partner with Merchandising, Content, Product Management, EDI & Integrations, Wholesale Sales, and DTC teams on seasonal strategies, product launches, and business initiatives.
Partner with Sales to identify new retail partnerships, marketplace opportunities, and strategies to expand AXNY Brands' dropship presence.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in dropship management, e-commerce, marketplace operations, or wholesale, preferably in footwear, apparel, or fashion.
Proven experience managing third-party retail platforms, retailer portals, and dropship operations.
Strong understanding of product setup, inventory feeds, order processing, pricing, and fulfillment.
Demonstrated ability to manage sales performance, analyze margins, and drive profitable business growth.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with reporting tools, ERP systems, and e-commerce platforms.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and build effective cross-functional relationships.
Prior people-management experience is a plus.
A hands-on, commercially minded leader who can take ownership of the dropship business, manage retail partnerships, identify opportunities for growth, and ensure the channel operates efficiently and profitably.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable analyzing business performance, managing day-to-day operations, and developing strategies to grow the AXNY Brands dropship business.
