About the Role
Our Canadian operation is currently looking for an Analyst or Associate to join our Diversified Investment Banking group in Toronto. Analysts in this group are generalists, gaining experience across the full spectrum of non-resource industries and product groups.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside deal teams on a variety of advisory and financing transactions in diversified sectors.
- Play a key role in developing and executing transactions, including financial analysis, value analysis, detailed modeling, and preparation of presentation materials.
- Conduct research of company and industry dynamics.
- Manage due diligence processes.
- Prepare offering documents and market transactions.
Requirements
- Completion of a university degree in a business-related discipline.
- Minimum of one (1) year of investment banking or relevant finance experience in a similar role.
- Experience in both M&A and corporate finance preferred.
- Solid quantitative skills including strong financial modeling skills.
- Strong analytical ability and written communication skills.
- Resourceful, diligent, and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada with no restrictions.
