About the Role
Clarity Care is hiring compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for our residential group homes. As a DSP, you’ll help Members with varying abilities navigate everyday activities, build independence, and enjoy fulfilling lives. No experience or certifications are required as we provide paid training.
Responsibilities
- Assist Members with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, personal hygiene, and other daily activities based on individual care plans.
- Provide mobility and transfer assistance using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Encourage Members to make choices, develop skills, and work toward personal goals.
- Provide compassionate, respectful support that promotes dignity and independence.
- Prepare and serve meals while following individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable home through housekeeping, laundry, and other household activities.
- Support daily routines that make each residential home a positive place to live.
- Accompany Members to social activities, recreational outings, and community events.
- Encourage participation in activities reflecting Members’ interests and personal goals.
- Build trusting relationships and celebrate everyday achievements.
- Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure consistent, person-centered support.
- Follow individualized service plans, safety procedures, and organizational policies.
- Complete required documentation and communicate important updates regarding Member care.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and ability to meet agency driving standards.
- Ability to successfully complete required caregiver background checks.
- No prior caregiving experience or certifications required.
