Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to grow the Performance Advertising segment by identifying high-potential accounts and developing go-to-market strategies.
  • Activate priority client targets, build a qualified pipeline, and drive revenue growth.
  • Contribute to evolving Universal Ads' sales approach for three key segments, including positioning, pitch narrative, measurement, industry presence, and account prioritization.
  • Translate CTV's downstream effects into a performance narrative for advertisers accustomed to search and social channels.
  • Collaborate with CSM, product, measurement, partnerships, marketing, and leadership to ensure the roadmap meets the needs of performance-minded marketers.
  • Engage credibly with sophisticated performance marketers and identify requirements for earning budget.
  • Educate customers on how CTV and premium video complement existing performance channels like paid social, search, and affiliate marketing.
  • Represent Universal Ads with credibility and confidence at industry events, demonstrating a strong understanding of the SMB and performance advertising ecosystem.
  • Apply an entrepreneurial mindset to help shape the business.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of direct sales experience in SMB performance/growth marketing, search, or related advertising sales.
  • TV/CTV and performance marketing sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of measurement frameworks, including pixel-based attribution, platform reporting, incrementality testing, geo tests, conversion lift studies, and measurement triangulation.
  • Ability to translate premium video and CTV into a credible performance narrative for advertisers historically focused on search, social, affiliate, and lower-funnel channels.
  • Strong understanding of performance media buying behavior, attribution challenges, creative testing, optimization, and budget allocation/scaling.
  • Experience in a high-growth, early-stage, or build-oriented environment preferred.
  • Ability to develop engaging narratives and storytelling in a data-driven industry.
  • Understanding of Operating Principles.
  • Focus on customer experience.
  • Enthusiastic learner and advocate of technology, products, and services.
