About the Role
Medieval Times is seeking enthusiastic Retail Sales Clerks to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on maintaining outstanding customer service while selling retail items and photos, enhancing the guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and ascertain their wants or needs.
- Assist guests in enhancing the excitement of their Medieval Times experience.
- Have fun while delivering a great guest experience.
- Answer questions regarding merchandise and pricing.
- Describe options for taking and purchasing photos.
- Use camera to take both staged and candid photos of guests.
- Sell retail items and photos to guests in the arena.
- Assist in monthly and quarterly physical inventory of merchandise.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges.
- Follow Medieval Times cash handling policies.
- Arrange and display merchandise to promote sales.
- Assist Bar with running drinks to guests during the show as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to process information through computer system.
- Ability to count money and make change.
- Ability to proactively engage guests in making a sale.
- Ability to effectively communicate with Management, Team Members and Guests.
- Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and walk up and down stairs during assigned shifts.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.
