About the Role

The Manager, Campaign Operations provides the operational structure, quality control, and cross-functional coordination required to deliver marketing campaigns reliably at scale across both Core and Olympics. This role ensures campaigns are properly set up, tested, tracked, monitored, and ready to launch, while creating clear processes for identifying and resolving issues before they affect performance or customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the operational work required to launch integrated campaigns across Core and Olympics.
  • Translate campaign plans and briefs into clear operational requirements, timelines, dependencies, and launch checklists.
  • Maintain visibility into campaign status, milestones, blockers, approvals, and launch readiness across stakeholders.
  • Confirm that required assets, audiences, landing pages, forms, tracking parameters, and platform configurations are ready before launch.
  • Coordinate pre-launch reviews and ensure open issues are assigned, tracked, and resolved or appropriately escalated.
  • Support campaign launches across email, CRM, paid media, web, landing pages, forms, and related digital experiences.
  • Monitor campaign and data flows to identify failures, delays, broken connections, or unexpected behavior.
  • Build and maintain data health dashboards that provide visibility into data-flow reliability, record volumes, processing status, error conditions, and other key operational indicators.
  • Perform and coordinate end-to-end QA and testing across the full customer lifecycle, including lead capture and CRM record creation, consent and subscription preference handling, audience qualification, suppression, and activation, sales routing and lifecycle stage updates, marketing automation triggers and customer communications, and conversion events and attribution tracking.
  • Validate that records, submissions, audience updates, campaign responses, lifecycle changes, conversion events, and other key signals move correctly between relevant systems.
  • Establish repeatable QA standards, test cases, checklists, and documentation for common campaign workflows.
  • Investigate operational issues, identify root causes, coordinate resolution with internal or agency partners, and document outcomes.
  • Maintain appropriate launch-day and post-launch monitoring for priority campaigns and escalate issues based on agreed thresholds.
  • Apply and reinforce UTM, naming, tagging, and campaign taxonomy standards across Core and Olympics.
  • Partner with Marketing Analytics and channel owners to ensure campaign tracking supports accurate reporting and attribution.
  • Review campaign setup for consistency across platforms, properties, markets, audiences, and business units.
  • Identify data-quality gaps and coordinate corrective actions with Marketing, Technology, Analytics, and agency partners.
  • Maintain campaign operations documentation, including process maps, ownership models, issue logs, and standard operating procedures.
  • Execute hands-on Marketing Operations work across relevant campaign and customer-engagement platforms, including SFMC/Zeta, Salesforce, Data Cloud, UTM.io, and comparable tools.
  • Configure, test, troubleshoot, and document campaigns, audiences, forms, lead flows, automations, workflow changes, tracking, and related operational requirements.
  • Coordinate platform requests, access requirements, integrations, and operational dependencies while maintaining clear timelines and ownership.
  • Monitor platform usage, data quality, and reliability, escalating technical issues to Technology or vendors when appropriate.
  • Help ensure Marketing teams use campaign platforms consistently and in accordance with approved processes and governance standards.
  • Partner with platform owners and Technology to support transitions, integrations, and improvements to campaign workflows.
  • Partner with campaign leads and integrated marketers early in the planning process to identify operational needs and dependencies.
  • Maintain campaign calendars, workback plans, launch milestones, and operational status updates for assigned initiatives.
  • Coordinate across teams when campaigns require multiple systems, channels, markets, brands, or external partners.
  • Surface risks, resource constraints, and unresolved decisions early enough to support effective prioritization.
  • Contribute to a consistent operating rhythm across Core and Olympics, including intake, planning, launch, monitoring, and retrospective processes.
  • Lead the identification, prioritization, and implementation of process improvements across campaign intake, planning, setup, QA, launch, monitoring, and post-launch workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve reliability through automation, better system design, reusable templates, and standardized operating procedures.
  • Partner with Technology, Analytics, and platform owners to scope, test, document, and implement workflow and automation improvements.
  • Produce recurring reporting on campaign operational health, including launch readiness, QA completion, data-flow status, data health, open issues, escalations, and resolution timelines.
  • Provide clear status updates and decision-ready summaries for the Director of Marketing Operations and Analytics and campaign stakeholders.
  • Track recurring operational issues and convert post-launch learnings into updated processes, checklists, standards, and operating practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in campaign operations, marketing operations, CRM operations, lifecycle marketing operations, digital marketing operations, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating multi-channel campaigns across email, CRM, paid media, web, landing pages, forms, or related digital experiences.
  • Hands-on experience configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and operating campaign, CRM, marketing automation, or customer data platforms such as SFMC/Zeta, Salesforce, Data Cloud, UTM.io, or comparable tools.
  • Strong understanding of campaign QA, testing, tracking governance, data flows, lead routing, lifecycle management, and launch-readiness practices.
  • Experience managing campaign calendars, workback plans, dependencies, issue logs, and cross-functional deliverables.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify issues in complex campaign setups and customer journeys.
  • Ability to investigate problems, coordinate resolution across teams, and communicate risks clearly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide concise, action-oriented status updates.
  • Experience working with Marketing, Technology, Analytics, Sales, Creative, Content, and external agency partners.
  • Experience supporting high-volume campaign and event activity across multiple brands, markets, or business units.
  • Experience in sports, entertainment, hospitality, travel, ticketing, ecommerce, or another complex customer-journey environment.
