Responsibilities

  • Adapt and localize existing ElliQ visual designs, illustrations, animations, and UI assets for the Japanese market.
  • Ensure visual content is culturally appropriate, appealing, and easy to understand for Japanese older adults.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Conversation Designers, and Localization teams in Japan and Israel.
  • Review and refine typography, layouts, iconography, color usage, imagery, and visual storytelling to meet Japanese user expectations.
  • Create new visual assets, illustrations, and marketing materials as needed for product features, user studies, and customer-facing communications.
  • Support localization efforts for the ElliQ mobile app, caregiver experiences, onboarding flows, and in-product content.
  • Participate in user research reviews and incorporate insights from Japanese users into design recommendations.
  • Help maintain visual consistency between the global ElliQ brand and localized Japanese experiences (where possible).
  • Provide feedback on cultural nuances, accessibility considerations, and age-friendly design best practices.

  • Strong understanding of Japanese culture, aesthetics, and design conventions.
  • Proficiency in Figma and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design, branding, illustration, or digital product work.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional environment.
