About the Role
This position is within the Fortify Building Solutions business, serving the pre-engineered metal buildings, metal roof and wall systems, and steel building components industry.
Responsibilities
- Packaging and labeling material for loading and distribution
- Quality control of finished products
- Working with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, and screw guns
- Using measuring gauges and tape measures
- Communicating with team members to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
- Housekeeping and sanitation
Requirements
- Physical Stamina and Strength
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
Skills
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred
- Warehouse environment picking and pulling material preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
