About the Role
Partners Coffee is dedicated to roasting quality coffee and serving customers to the highest standard. We seek individuals passionate about coffee and hospitality for our busy Long Island City cafe.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Craft beverages to our standard.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of our coffee offerings.
- Run shifts through delegation and deployment.
- Maintain the cafe through busing tables, sweeping, and washing dishes.
Requirements
- NYC Food Handlers card (for Shift Leads)
- Ability to work on your feet for 8+ hours
- Lift up to 30lbs
- Climb stairs and ladders
- Hear audible cues and taste coffee
- Engage in repetitive physical movements of the hands and wrists throughout the day.
Skills
- Excellent customer service
- Strong interest in coffee
- Willingness to learn and improve
- Team player
- Clear communication with team members and management
- Love of specialty coffee
- Knowledgeable on health code
- Ability to run a DOH inspection
