About the Company
- San Francisco Compute provides large-scale supercomputers to ambitious teams without catastrophic balance sheet risk, unlike traditional GPU clouds with long-term contracts.
- SFC builds data centers and supercomputers, then leases them on contracts that allow customers to sublease.
- The company invented the first compute market and offers physical settlement, operating GPU clusters like a cloud and derisking customers like a market.
- SFC serves financially motivated parties as a technical partner to build, operate, and lease supercomputers on their behalf, enabling economic returns for cluster owners.
- Their hybrid model outperforms brokered contracts and other compute markets by offering custom solutions like regional deployments or colocated CPU fleets.
- The team includes senior leadership from Lambda, Crusoe, Digital Ocean, AWS, and Hut8, with a CTO who is the cofounder and former CEO of Voltage Park.
- The team has experience deploying 8GW of datacenter capacity and hundreds of thousands of GPUs.
Equal Opportunity
- The San Francisco Compute Company is committed to maintaining a workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
- Employment decisions are based on business needs, job requirements, and individual qualifications, without regard to race, color, religion, belief, national origin, social or ethical origin, age, physical, mental, or sensory disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, civil union or domestic partnership status, past or present military service, HIV status, family medical history or genetic information, family or parental status including pregnancy, or any other status protected by law.
- The company welcomes qualified applicants with prior arrest or conviction records, in accordance with local, state, and federal laws, including San Francisco’s Fair Chance Ordinance and California’s ban-the-box laws.
