About the Role
Questrade Financial Group (QFG) is seeking a Senior Manager, Analytics & Insights to lead the analytics strategy for Marketing and Product. This role will leverage AI to transform customer experiences and empower teams, redefining how insights are uncovered, performance is evaluated, and data is converted into action. The ideal candidate will be a catalyst for change, driving adoption of AI-native self-serve capabilities and elevating analytical rigor.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the multi-year analytics and insights strategy for Marketing and Product, aligning analytical roadmaps with key business priorities.
- Own the definitions and business logic for core marketing, product, and client engagement metrics.
- Partner with Analytics Engineering to design, deploy, and scale AI-native self-serve analytics ecosystems.
- Lead hands-on, high-complexity analyses and zero-to-one analytical deep dives.
- Write, maintain, and review production-grade SQL and dbt models within modern cloud platforms.
- Synthesize complex data into concise, actionable executive presentations and decision memos.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of analytics professionals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, or strategic data leadership roles.
- Demonstrable track record of insights directly driving marketing or product decisions.
- Advanced, hands-on SQL and dbt expertise working directly in cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Databricks, or Snowflake).
- Solid practical foundation in statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and A/B/n experimentation design.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex quantitative analyses into clear, one-page decision memos and executive presentations.
- Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing a team of data analysts while remaining hands-on with data and analysis.
- Demonstrated fluency with AI tools in day-to-day analytical workflows, with sound judgment in validating AI-generated work.
