About the Role
Delaware North is hiring a full-time Payroll Specialist to join our team at our global headquarters in Buffalo, New York. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing payroll in an accurate and timely manner. Responsibilities
- Perform weekly and semi-monthly payroll processing, auditing, and input
- Address team member inquiries regarding payroll issues, discrepancies, and changes in pay using case management tool
- Oversee wage adjustment calculation and processing
- Generate and distribute payroll reports
- Assist with payment distribution
- Stay updated on payroll wage and hour and tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing or a related field
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required
- Able to work in office 5 days a week, M-F 8:30 - 5:00 pm.
Skills
- Knowledge of payroll systems such as ADP Smart Compliance, WD or UKG preferred
