About the Role
Hembree Bell Law Firm is seeking an experienced family law paralegal to join their growing team in Austin. This role involves supporting case strategies, client interaction, and creative dispute resolution, blending technical skills with empathy.
Responsibilities
- Shape and support case strategies by preparing discovery, drafting pleadings, motions, and mediation prep
- File documents with the court and prepare trial exhibits
- Act as a "dealmaker" to help families resolve disputes creatively, outside the courtroom
- Project confidence and competence in contested cases while keeping clients calm and informed
- Be part of a team that believes in winning together and growing every day
Requirements
- 10+ years of family law litigation experience
- Practical, empathetic, and client-focused
- Thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment

Skills
- Proficiency in Clio OR similar software
