About the Role
Joy Kid's Learning House Inc. is seeking a passionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher in Bayside, NY, to make a meaningful impact on young children's lives by fostering curiosity, creativity, and early development.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for toddlers.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Monitor and support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and daily activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-safe classroom at all times.
- Follow all state and local childcare regulations, health, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support a positive learning community.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood setting.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for ages 1–2.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check as required by New York State.
